I respect a music video that is simple, but with heavy emphasis on dance moves and editing. I saw this on a big screen tv connected to a laptop via an HDMI cable. Totally changes the experience of watching it.

FPM: Don't You Know
Just been introduced to the music of Fantastic Plastic Machine by my friend Ken Hoinsky, and I stumbled upon this mega-engaging music video. Lovin' it.

AKB48 RIVER USA!!!
My music video has finally aired in Japan on Nemousu TV. ^_^ Working with the AKB48 group was one of the most wonderful experiences in my life. Special thanks to Makoto Murata, the producer, for his support, and Ken Hoinsky for overseeing the production.
Here is the music video. Enjoy!

Chatmonchy at the Budokan
I'm falling more and more in love with Chatmonchy. I don't know why. I want to create one of their music videos, I like them that much.

Portal - Let Them Eat Rei
I'm always impressed by some of the fan made videos on the internet. Portal is a game of cult status, and the song at the end of it is creepy and cool. I like how this fan mixed it with Evangelion footage and used multi-screen in a great way.

Chatmonchy
My brother showed me this one amazing song by this random Japanese band. Listening to this girl brings a smile to my face every time, I don't know why. It's cool that they're an all female rock band, too.
Same song, but live.
Another live song I really like.

TO AKB48
Dear Erena, Sumire, Aki-chan, Minami, Miho, Tomomi, Sae, Sayaka,
^_^ You got a friend here in New York City... me. Working with you all makes me feel on top of the world. I tried thinking of a song that shows how I feel. You can all know that, if any of you were in trouble or need help or just a friend, I would dig a tunnel through the earth from New York to Japan.
Really.

MGMT Kids'
Abby's face is mesmerizing me in this video. She looks like he's having so much fun. I love indie music videos...
Greatest. Wedding. Ever.
This is a repost. It seems, unbeknownst to me, that my tiny fan base likes to use my site as a home base to constantly watch all the cool stuff I post. I apologize, Youlah, for taking down this amazing video:

A Song From Heaven: Spiegel im Spiegel
Everyone loved the Olafur Arnalds video I posted. So here is my favorite classical song of all time. It was written in heaven and sent to earth. It's 11 minutes long, and yet has about 1000 play hits on my itunes. I think it's the Greatest Song Ever Written. This is not a hyperbole. Listen to it alone, in a dark room, with headphones on, without watching the screen. Darken your monitor. Just darkness, and the music. You will have a spiritual experience.

Arcade Fire - Live in an Elevator
One of my favorite indie bands. Their stuff is so creative and I'm totally digging this video:
This interactive video of the same song is creepy and incredibly awesome.

The Greatest AMV I've Ever Seen
This video uses the theme song from Paprika, which gives it a major advantage since Susumu Hirasawa's Paprika score is more addictive than all the oolong tea in the world. But the video is so conceptual, as opposed to focusing on just a narrative. I really, really love it. Do any of you know of an AMV that can rival this one?

Modern Classical Music That Rocks
I love listening to NPR at night. That's when they showcase their New Sounds segment, and play whatever music they want--no matter how strange. New Sounds is also my number one way of discovering great modern classical music that actually rocks. Newest discovery to prove my case: Olafur Arnalds. His music heals my soul. And his fans are awesome, because they create cool and abstract music videos for him, like this one:
